ABOUT US

The pastoral staff of Harvest Church Meridian launched Harvest College in the fall of 2007 with a handful of interns in the basement of their offices. With no accreditation or affiliation, they created a place for young people to get equipped with a unique blend of discipleship and systematic Bible teaching. From there, the college went on to partner with Logos University as a scholastic backing. This relationship continued until 2016, and in the fall of 2016 the decision was made to partner with Portland Bible College as an affiliate program.

HARVEST CHURCH MERIDIAN

As the founder of Harvest College, Pastor Mark Bryan’s mission is to make disciples and equip people with a solid biblical education as preparation for wherever God may call them. Pastors Mark and DD are the senior pastors of Harvest Church Meridian. Students gain practical ministry experience through serving at Harvest. Many of the pastors and staff of Harvest Church make up the faculty and staff of the college.

OUR DIRECTOR

Pastor Anna Bryan brings experience in education and a love for raising leaders to BHC. She is passionate about equipping and inspiring young adults to change the world for Christ. She also serves as the Missions Pastor, coordinating Harvest’s missions efforts and is heavily invested in Harvest Young Adults. Pastor Anna is a graduate from Harvest College (class of 2013), and built on that biblical foundation to get bachelor’s degrees in global business, international relations, and Spanish from Northwest Nazarene University, as well as a master’s degree in government from Regent University in 2019.

Despite growing up in church, I felt I firmly lacked Biblical knowledge. BHC not only provided the information I was seeking but created an environment that helped me strengthen my relationship with God. Attending this school was a vital part of my Christian walk.

Ashley Mujagic, 2015

“Boise Harvest College was the greatest educational experience of my life! I learned how to trust the Lord with my talents and insecurities. God grew and shaped me through studying His Word at an amazing school. I loved it.”

Shannon LaFramboise, 2022

Affiliation

Boise Harvest College is an affiliate of Portland Bible College in Portland, Oregon. This relationship gives BHC the ability to provide a quality, theological education locally. A PBC degree cannot be completed entirely in an affiliate program like BHC. Portland Bible College requires a minimum of 40% of credits towards a degree to be taken directly from them – either on campus or through their online program. The BHC program is designed to meet this standard by incorporating PBC online courses into the BHC school schedule.

Boise Harvest College itself is not degree granting. Upon successful completion of year two, BHC students will receive an associate degree in theology from PBC. Students can seamlessly go on to pursue further theological courses through PBC, whether in person or online, without any transfer issues or loss of credit.

BHC is a unique opportunity due to the incredible availability of world-renowned teachers from PBC, such as Ken Malmin and Frank Damazio, through the online courses. Students also benefit from the face-time of teachers in the classroom from Harvest Church’s staff and faculty. This blends rich heritage with a practical learning experience that is one of a kind.
