About Us

The pastoral staff of Harvest Church Meridian launched Harvest College in the fall of 2007 with a handful of interns in the basement of their offices. With no accreditation or affiliation, they knew that the young people needed equipping and systematic Bible teaching for foundation. From there, the college went on to partner with Logos University as a scholastic backing. This relationship continued until 2016, and in the fall of 2016 the decision was made to partner with Portland Bible College as an affiliate program.

Harvest Church Meridian

As the founder of Harvest College, Pastor Mark Bryan’s mission is to build a biblical foundation into the lives of young people that will carry them through the storms of life. Pastors Mark and DD Bryan are the senior pastors of Harvest Church Meridian with which we are intimately intertwined and involves students in weekly ministry opportunities. Many of the pastors and staff of Harvest Church make up the faculty and staff of the college.

Our Director

Pastor Jonny Bryan was among the first students in the maiden year of BHC. He has been involved in almost every ministry at Harvest Church Meridian including short-term missions, worship ministry, preaching and teaching and currently serves as the Youth Pastor. The foundation that he received has been a wealth that he draws from as he works with the students and is currently continuing his education online through PBC.

Pastor Jonny has served as Director of Boise Harvest College since spring of 2016. He is an incredible communicator and is doing an excellent job leading the team at Harvest College. Students are guaranteed to have him as a teacher at least one class per semester. This is a truly life-changing experience! His love for the Word of God exudes through his passionate teaching. One of his greatest joys is helping others fall in love with the person of Jesus Christ through His Word.

Boise Harvest College is an affiliate of Portland Bible College in Portland, Oregon. This relationship gives BHC the ability to provide a quality, theological education locally. A PBC degree cannot be completed entirely in an Affiliate program (like BHC). Portland Bible College requires a minimum of 40% of credits towards a degree to be taken directly from them – either on campus or through their online program. The BHC program is designed in such a way to meet this standard by incorporating PBC online courses into the BHC school schedule. All students who successfully complete the BHC program, in its entirety, will meet the requirements to complete an official PBC degree.

Boise Harvest College itself is not degree granting. Upon successful completion of year two, BHC students will receive an Associate’s Degree in Theology from PBC. Students can seamlessly go on to pursue further theological courses through PBC, whether in person or online, without any transfer issues or loss of credit.

BHC is a unique opportunity due to the incredible availability of world-renowned teachers from PBC, such as Ken Malmin and Frank Damazio, through the online courses. But also students will benefit from the face-time of teachers in the classroom from Harvest Church’s staff and faculty. This blends rich heritage with a practical learning experience that is one-of-a-kind.
